I understand what it means to be frustrated with your natural hair. Believe it or not, I have not always been a fan of my own hair, because it was frustrating not knowing how to get it to look the way I wanted it to look, and really not knowing what techniques did and didn't work.
I remember feeling like my hair was difficult. Once I came into the understanding of what my hair needed and what it was and what it wasn't, I was able to appreciate my hair for what it was and give it what it needs. Now I thrive fully confident and understanding how my hair is supposed to look when it's healthy versus not.
I want to give you that same love for your hair and that same clarity that allows you to flow in and out of your natural curls. Maybe you wanna do braids. Maybe you wanna do twist-outs. Maybe you want to get a silk press. I'm gonna teach you how to do all the above, while always preserving the care of your natural curls. The goal is that when you are ready to wear your curls, your curls are right there waiting for you, ready to be hydrated and defined by your own beautiful fingers. I wanna make sure that you walk away, knowing that you can be just as reliant on your own natural hair as you can with any protective styles or braids.
